SOFIA · CURATED GUIDE
Italian, Greek, Asian and modern European restaurants that broaden Sofia’s dining map. Every place here comes from my own visits and is somewhere I would happily return to.
FROM MY NOTEBOOK

An open kitchen, beautiful cocktails and food made for sharing. The duck is the order I would go back for.

A polished Sofia dinner with beautiful modern plating—from the burrata and squid risotto to the delicate dessert, every course feels carefully considered.

The prosciutto pizza is the one to order—a thin, blistered base covered generously with delicate slices of cured ham.

A polished Oborishte dining room for an elegant dinner—order the truffle fries for the table and do not miss the wonderfully theatrical press-for-champagne bell.

A warm, modern Greek table with beautiful ceramics and generous sharing plates—the crisp potatoes, fritters with yoghurt and tomato salad are all worth ordering.

A stylish central Sofia spot for beautifully presented food and cocktails. The creamy burrata with pesto and peeled tomatoes is a lovely start, and the warm dessert with vanilla ice cream is worth saving room for.
